Trip to the Mountains of NC

One step closer to the end......

Hello All,
I know i been slacking bad and I am sorry its been so long. I had some major changes in my life and I am back on track. I have one semester left and I will be done with RT school! I also have a new girlfriend and a new apartment. Her name is Kim and she is Amazing. she is a feisty red head who makes me laugh till i get a belly ache. We just did a trip to the Biltmore for a candle light Christmas tour and it was awe inspiring the place was huge and it was very festive. They had close to a 50 foot live tree in the main dining room. We took a ride on the Blue ridge Parkway and the mountains were Beautiful. School is going great this semester saw things coming together for a bunch of us. We had a few more drop outs it really don't make sense coming this far to drop it at the beginning of the last semester. I do feel sorry for them but most said they well be back to finish. I hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas will be posting more soon.
Merry Christmas

Out of the wilderness

Hello Campers, yes its been way to long and yes there has been some changes. School is going good. We are done with the two semesters of adults and now we move to the land of the Peds. Finals are done for the semester and i did quite well. Work is just as insane short staffed and lack of equipment makes for some crazy nights. My personal life been a roller coaster break ups and reunions and lost love rekindled. Lost some Friends new and old and with each went a little piece of my heart. I was wondering in the wilderness for way too long. I got my life back on track, I come out of the woods just as sleep deprived as before and twice as sarcastic. Life is getting better two semesters left. How i did not cause worry, if I did sorry but i am back and folks we are going to have some fun.
Peace to all

Hi there Remember me ?

Hello all a new semester has started and I am up to my eyeballs in clinical rotations and homework. so i will keep this short and sweet. I am in my new apartment and its great. Had an interest case at work A 5 year old in out cardiac unit got a Picc line. Not out of the ordinary around here but afterwards, he started to throw allot of PVC's and them had a run of V Tach. we got an xray on the child and what do you know the Picc line was about 7 inches to far in. the end of the IV was sitting in the right ventricle OPPPPPPPSSSSSS. we got the resident to pull it back to where it belonged and we all were happy campers again. Well its coffee time see you all later.
take care
